Day 1 :
- Introduction to Steels, Alloy Steels and Stainless steels
- Basic Welding Methods (SMAW, GTAW, GMAW and SAW)
- Metallurgical aspect of welding
- Fundamentals of WPS, PQR & WPQ and their importance in the welding process.
- Learn how to prepare WPS in accordance with ASME BPVC SEC IX.
- Significance of the different variables that affect welding quality.
Day 2 :
- Importance of PQR in qualifying
- welding procedures and ensuring quality.
- Learn how to prepare and conduct PQR testing and documentation.
- How to interpret PQR test results.
- WPQ in qualifying welders and how it differs from PQR.
- How to prepare and conduct WPQ testing and documentation.
